The first photo is of Roya and me on the first day of school (probably kindergarten and 1st grade). At least Roya's socks are supposed to show.
The boy reminds me Forrest Gump or the Beaver. My friends at work think it looks like a Norman Rockwell painting.
The second photo includes Mom and Dad, and my grandma (on Mom's side) holding baby Tonja.
Thanks to my dad for taking and saving these photos and to Roya for moving them from slides to digital images.
I anticipate some good laughs looking at the rest of the photos when we visit Indiana in July.
