SSS 48 - The Plan

Summer Single Season 48 White Mountains Four Thousand Footers

Past experience:

  • hiked several 4K'ers (both sides Kinsman Ridge, Franconia Ridge, Pemi Loop, Wildcat Ridge, Washington, Moosilauke...)
  • but avoided keeping track for a lifetime 48 because just wanted to enjoy, not obsess

  • 6/29: Hancock, S Hancock

  • 7/3: Tecumseh (bike shuttle)
  • 7/4: Hale
  • 7/5: Presi Traverse (bike shuttle)
  • 7/6: Tom, Field and Willey

  • 7/12: Tripyramids
  • 7/13: Whiteface, Passaconaway

  • 7/19-7/20: Bonds/Zealand/Twins/Galehead/Garfield/Owl'sHead

  • 7/26-27: Acadia with the Burpees

  • 8/2: Carrigain
  • 8/3: Chocorua (not a 4000-footer)

  • 8/9-10: Stern family reunion in Indiana

  • 8/16: Cabot
  • 8/17: Waumbek

  • 8/23-24: VT Gaps Ride with the Rippers

  • 8/30: Wildcats/Carters/Moriah traverse (bike shuttle)
  • 8/31: Isolation

  • 9/6: Moosilauke (final 48 w/ friends and a case of 4000 Footer IPA)
