Put on the wide tires. Swapped road pedals for MTB pedals. Added Ripper logo. Now I'm ready for Bayley-Hazen tomorrow.
Bayley-Hazen was a blast--wet, cold, dirty, hilly--trashed my bike. Have to ride back today in little ring.
The Bayley-Hazen Return Ride had its ups and downs. The hills of course; but also the elation of riding a gorgeous foliage lined road and the dismay of a broken shifter cable and a broken chain; the pleasure of riding under a blue sky and the pain of a freezing downhill in the dark; the joy of new asphalt on Rte 12 and the stress of the traffic on Rte 15.
